Who We Are
Syria Relief & Development (SRD) is a nonprofit organization addressing the most urgent aid needs of Syria.
Our Story
The Syria Relief and Development Organization (SRD) is an nonprofit organization founded by a number of Syrian immigrants in 2011 in response to the humanitarian crisis in Syria. It has been working to provide humanitarian assistance for more than ten years to Syrians affected by violence, poverty, hunger, and displacement, as the turbulent situation in Syria has created an urgent need, mainly in the Health, Protection, and Nutrition Sectors. SRD also implements shelter and non-food items projects within the rapid response program.
SRD meets these needs through comprehensive and integrated programs in Syria and neighboring countries, providing more than 14 million services through three main offices in America, Syria, and Jordan.
